Firms with their own internal templates can use this feature to include those documents in the System of Quality Management. We call these non-digitized documents because they have not been through our proprietary digitization process.

User flow
Upload Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document
- Navigate to the Documents view on the top navigation menu bar
- Click the Add new button
- Click the File from upload option
- In the “Upload the Document” window, select either 'Documentation of SOQM' or 'Attachment' and then choose whether to choose a document already uploaded or upload a new document.
- Click Next
- Open the dropdown list to select the sub-folder where you want to place the Document
- Name your Document
- Click Next
- When an Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document is created, you can see it displayed in the main list of Documents tab
NOTE: To ensure you can best utilize the live-edit functionality to collaborate with your team members in real time, please convert any docx, xls, ppt files into the latest Microsoft Office format (.docx, .xlsx/.xlsm, .pptx) before uploading into the platform. In any Document in the latest format Microsoft Word/Excel/Excel format .docx, .xlsx/.xlsm, .pptx), you and your team members from the same SOQM can use the full functionality of Microsoft SharePoint Online to make edits at the same time. Any changes will be automatically saved online in real time.
NOTE: You will be able to use the “Review” – “Add comment” tool in SharePoint Online to Setup review notes in Excel/Word/PowerPoint Documents. However, these review notes will not be displayed in the Review Notes Summary in your SOQM. If you wish to use the Review Note common tools with data persistency, we recommend you perform this action within our digitized Documents.
NOTE: If you want to reference any other Document within the SOQM in a non-digitized Document, right click on a cell (in Excel)/a piece of selected text (in Word/PowerPoint) and select “Hyperlink” or “Link” and input the URL of the target Document you would like to reference.
Download Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document

Navigate to the Documents view on the top navigation menu bar

Click the check box beside the Document(s) you want to download

Click the Download button in the top navigation bar of the Documents view, choose the local folder you want to save the Document to, and click “Save”
Delete Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document
- Navigate to the Documents view on the top navigation menu bar
- Click the check box beside the Document(s) you want to delete
- Click the Delete button in the top navigation bar of the Documents view
NOTE: If you want to replace an existing Excel/Word/PowerPoint Document, you can first download the original Document to save as a back-up before deleting it, then use “Add new” button to upload your new replacement Document.
Sign off on Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document(s)
- Select the Documents Tab on the top navigation bar
- Check the box beside your completed Document and click "Mark As Prepared" or "Mark As Reviewed" in the navigation bar
Delete Sign-offs
- Navigate to the Document view
- Click the details icon ("i" icon) to the right of the Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document
- Select the Sign-offs tab to see the sign-off details
- Hover over the sign-off you wish to delete
- Click the delete button to the right of the sign-off
- Confirm that you wish to delete the selected sign-off by clicking Delete in the pop-up window
- Refresh the browser to reflect the changes made
Write comments
- Navigate to the Documents view on the top navigation menu bar
- Click the "i" button to the right of the Excel/Word/PowerPoint format Document you want to see the details
- Navigate to the Comments tab
- Draft your text in the Write a comment field and click Post
